    I really like the semi transparent/translucent look - almost like glass.

    Tim,

    This is caused by a happy accident. Trying to reduce the filesize I reduced the colours to 16 and this is what caused the effect.

    Or on the other-hand I could claim it was a brilliant new earth shattering effect I had invented ......

    Terrific thread... croowe, your idea seems to capture the idea of a sub very nicely, and I also like the 3D fx on egg's version... perhaps we might see a collab?
