Ringtail, great job, again! This makes me wonder if you have a houseload of beautiful women to pick from for your models. You certainly have a way to make "pen and ink cartoon-like" characters looks almost real.

Thanks guys...Alas there are no beautiful women here other than what I invent out of my head. I do have raccons in the trees out back tho.
Funny thing about this Ringtail character is that I have had him around for years. Here's a very early pen and ink version dating from my High School daze.
Wow! Now there's proof of natural talent. You got it, buddy! (And that's really funny, too! Your own joke?)

Yeah...from my futile experiences of fishing in the rain.
Some people are born with talent and despise the discouragement to not give it full "reign" (not "rain"), it is creative when the talent is not "reigned in".
Other people reawaken latent talent when they are no longer with the "Nay"-sayers.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Thanks for sharing again Ringtail. You are definitely one of the "Greats" on the forum. Quality and quantity.
I love your cartoons, may I ask why did you choose to present yourself as a racoon?
Thanks Norman and Sallybode!
Because we are mischevious and we wash our paws ...I guess it's completely arbitrary. They have a lot of personality tho . They are also one of the few species of wildlife they actually seem to be thriving despite the encroachment of man. Must be those nimble fingers.
