    Yes, All of them.

Google isn't a browser, just a site. Don't go there and don't install Google toolbar. I use IE7 and stay away from Google unless absolutely necessary.

A lot of software installs the Google Toolbar - but, normally you can uncheck the "Google Toolbar" checkbox.

It is annoying that everything appears to want to install Google Toolbar and/or Google desktop.

I personally do not want extra Toolbars in my browser or on my Desktop.

The only recourse I have found is to carefully observe every window when installing a browser and make sure to untick the boxes to allow google to be installed.

Crapware, Affiliateware, Sponsorware, Stealthware is in my opinion insidious.
I have yet to meet a single person who is happy that unwanted software is installed onto their computers.

The meaning of 'PC' has been well and truly lost in the minds of software vendors and marketeers.

I stopped watching broadcast Televsion many years ago due to the cr*p that is being fed to the general public. In a way, similar.

If, and this is Bill's point, you have to untick a box to opt out, rather than tick a box to opt in I agree, very bad practice.

Indeed, in the same way we have to inform Telstra (our main phone carrier) that we DO NOT WISH to be included on any telephone marketing list. Otherwise you end up with calls from all sorts of companies trying to sell you their rubbish. Of course they always call around 6pm or just after, when most families are all home (so someone will pickup the phone) and commonly when you are either serving food or sat down to eat.
Enraged with this I was, as asked to be on the list I was not!
Curt to callers I was... Now off the list I am...

This is going OT a bit...
