    Thanks to all for the kind comments.

    Ringtail, to answer your question, this is almost directly across the street from the federal courthouse on Pacific Avenue, a few doors up from the University of Washington bookstore and Starbucks.

    Drifter, I mostly used Paintshop Pro IX, I believe. I may have used a few other programs, but to be honest, I don't exactly remember.

    Drifter Bob: Nothing to forgive. Your redo is an inspiration to me. What I posted here is a compressed and cut-down version of the original humongous file, but I still have that, and you have inspired me to rework it. Thanks for taking the time. I didn't have Xara at the time, and I did not exactly know how to use the mold and envelop tools. Time to sharpen my chops.
