Drifter, this is an awesome work...the Corvette was my dream car as a youth. The '57 Corvette rolled off the assembly line the year I got my drivers license...sigh...

    Bob,
I love it! Awesome work! Cars are really popular and have a huge part in American history and nostalgia. I always wanted a 1958 in white. I know white sounds rather plain or ordinary, but ever since I saw one many years ago, I fell in love with the look.

    Bob,

I love the car ..... hate the wheels! They just seem out of place. The chrome effect just doesn't blend into the rest of the drawing but seems "in your face".

Then again perhaps it's just me.

Thanks Ron, Availor, Egg and Ringtail. Just so you know, I didn't draw these strange wheels onto an otherwise fine car. They were already there - came with the car.

Drifter, you know the way to overcome the wheel problem is by distraction. You borrow the court stenographer from Ringtail's "Golf Anyone" and have her sporting a smile and not much else, then in front of the back tire, all the needless office equipment and the discarded clothes.

That way none of your critics will notice anything wrong about the car.

But I will still notice the wheels, (you see I am immune to the above antics)!
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Hahahaha. Yes, she would certainly distract the viewers' eyes.

Those chrome wheels are what took so long. There are tons of parts to each, but it was a lot of fun trying to make them actually look chromish (if there is such a word).
