Gets even more interesting, checked the plugin folder and none of the files have been installed despite my pointing the install to that location.
Ian
Xtreme will search for everything if you select a location. Point to the drive where the plugins were installed. The plugins don't need to be in the Extreme folder. See if you can find them, and then point to that location.

I just tested all the different effects of Eye Candy, and they all seem to be working fine for me!

Thanks
think I'll try a reinstall
Ian
Ian and Will you are talking about two different Alien Skin products as if they are the same product.
Eye Candy 4000 is the product that works with Xara Xtreme.
Eye Candy 5 Impact is a different product and I do not know if it is compatable with Xtreme. The requirements mentioned on the Alien Skin website for Impact is Photoshop 7 or newer, Paint Shop Pro 8 or newer, Photoshop Elements 2 or newer.

Last XaReg update
Just as an update, yes they do work with Xara although I had a bit of a struggle to do it.
I found when I installed the files were not written to the folder. psplugins
I repeated it and then noticed I had multiple alien directories. I deleted these and started again and they all installed perfectly.
Does anyone know how to uninstall the candy400 demo?
thanks
Ian
Works fine .. handy for hair ...
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.
Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.
