    Zeb, there are no tricks. I created a fur texture using plug-in Eye Candy – fur . Saved it like bitmap and then used as fill and transparency map for making lion body.

    that is outstanding vector art. Definitely among the best I've seen in the photorealistic genre. Thanks for sharing.
