How to install

I finally found plug-ins in my XPE program folder, but I can't seem to find any help about how to install them. Help!

I have just answered the same question on another thread. In xtreme go to utilities and then to options look for effects and plugin that may be the way to go. Also read the help file on plugins

Thanks, Parahandy. But Utilities > Special effects is grayed out. In Options, there is a tab for Effects and Plugins, but all it seems to provide is the ability to set up a folder for plugins.

As for Help on Plugins, there are two choices: Live Effects Tool or Xara Picture Editor. After following the instructions in XPE Plugin Help, I can apply effects in XPE, but in Xtreme, no effects seem to be available. I've gotta be doin' sumpthin (sic) wrong.

Okay, I see. I have to have a bitmap in Xtreme to apply the plugin to. Noww they're available. Thanx much.
