    Unhappy Special HTML characters

    Hello My Friends:

I need help in inserting a special character in my menu bar title. I do not wish to use the word "and" but the special character "&". I have tried to insert the html code "alt+038" but all I get is a underscore character. Can anyone help?

    Hello, and welcome in.

like AKRAIDER suggested, you can use a special character set starting with a "&" i.e. &nbsp = "non breakable space" = white space.

If you use any web authoring tool like DreamWeaver you have the whole set of charecters. You have all the ASCII code there, ISO and UNICODE characters (and that's ALOT of characters). If you use DreamWeaver type the "&" in the code line and a little window helper will pop up so you can pick your character.

To add this to your menu bar I suppose you just need to copy and paste this character, i.e. &amp.

I tried both Akraider and your suggestions - - still I get the "_" character!

Guess I will have to use the "and"?
