    Default Metalic fill?

    Hi everyone,
can anyone suggest a metalic fill for the horse shoe shape on the mobile. I've tried a few but none seem right, so if anyone can come up with one I'd be happy as I've got bogged down with trying. The mobile by the way is one I had years ago, so I've tried to draw it from memory, not great but near as I can recall.

perhaps something like this? A stretched out fractal clouds fill with stained glass transparency and some reflections with the background color and red phone color. The reflection/shadow was made out of a line with the fallout stroke shape and some feathering an transparency.

I was thinking along a similar line as Paul.

I'm amazed you can remember that much from memory. I've had my current mobile for about 2 years and I couldn't draw it from memory if my life depended on it... I suppose a lot depends upon how often you use it.

My two cents. (Or shillings if you are on the other side of the big pond.)

The reason I remember it Frank is, it was just for calls and text, which I used a lot, the latest one I have now I needed to take out a second mortgage to buy it and go back to college to learn how to use it!! aah when life was simpler.
