I'm posting a drawing I'm not pleased with because I didn't take the time to figure out how to draw the glass appropriately. I'll take suggestions on how to improve this perfume bottle.

I think the problem most frequently encountered by people trying to draw glass is remembering that you cannot draw glass, you can only draw that which is reflected and refracted by it, even if it is not clear glass. Therefore you need to have an environment in mind when you draw something featuring glass. Those of us with experience of 3D modelling will be acutely aware of this.
Here is a drawing I did some years ago, the salt and pepper shakers that some of you may remember, a study of brass, chrome and perspex (or indeed glass).

Ron, I agree with ankhor about parts being too straight, not curved. I can't help you with the glass issue... sorry. I love the top!
Frank - what a fantastic job!

Gary, love the stereogram!!
Big Frank, I remember the great salt and pepper thread well, one of the best ones.
this may be one of the best months for "stop and post"
Well, here it is...Only the tallow looks a bit slimy Please tell me what you think so I can correct it.
Also I'd like to know how to slice or substract a default perspective (mould tool). I had to crop it in Photoshop. In Xtreme the perspective changed when sliced
What splendid artwork are you all busy with!!!
