    Monkey sees, monkey does...
    I agree with Dan, there has to be a way to twist a bevel object as it follows a curve. Then the cable would be nailed.

    Really good Grafixman I also like that you created a different looking hook as well pulley...

    Can you find any tut's for Blender on how to create rope? I am betting if you could, that this would also be ideal for the cable...
