    Default Scoth tape

    Hi all,

I can't find any tutorial on that.
Can anyone show me a way to do it?
    I found that : http://geda-online.com/tutorials/tape/

    But I guess it's toshop.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Hmm, sellotape/scotch tape isn't easy. This is the best I could do.

Make a rectangle very light gray, apply transparency stained glass
type several vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv tack on either end angle it and that's about it.

    Hi nvictor,

I might be a little late with my reply, but here's another version...
    • In Xara make a rectangle.
    • In menu Arrange select "Convert to editable shapes".
    • Draw a line with the Freehand and Brush Tool. In the brush-selector choose one that's a little crumbled. I took the second one in the first row.
    • In the Arrange-menu choose "Change line to shape" and then "Convert to editable shapes".
    • Change the size as you want it. Duplicate the line and move it over the rectangle.
    • Select both shapes. Choose menu "Arrange - Combine Shapes - Subtract shapes". The line should now be subtracted from the rectangle and this shoul look now, as if it hase been wrapped off.
    • Clear the line from the rectangle.
    • Give it a light grey color.
    • Change the transparency to a value you like.

That's all. Not very hard, I think.
