    Default Odd behavior

Starting yesterday, my corner "pull arrows" [for lack of knowledge of the correct term] have changed from diagonal arrows to a cross of arrows.
What happened? How do I get the diagonal arrows back? Using a combo with shift or ctrl makes no difference. While those combos do what they are supposed to (one is constrain) the cross shape is still there. I checked in Word to see if a drawn square in there acted the same way - it does not. I DO have the diagonal arrows there.

Cannot help you with this one Bob except to say my"pull" Arrow shape has always been the cross type and they work fine.

Briefly, because have broken my arm and typing and/or mouse tricky, if 'Show rotation handles' and 'Lock aspect ratio' are delselected, this seems to happen.

THAT'S IT!!! Thank you all so much; this was driving me nuts! I had clicked on the padlock to change just the width of a drawing for a tutorial I was doing and never put it back on.
Thank you again! And Penny, I hope your arm heals quickly, without pain.
[Norm, you might consider locking the aspect and see if you like it better that way for normal use... I do.]

Big Frank has an insight there but I was also wondering, is there a means of resetting everything to default should things go so awry you just don't know what to do such as holding down F8 resets CorelDRAW to factory defaults? If there isn't that could go on a wish list, don't you think?
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.
