hahahahaha, well, my desktop is way more crowded than yours - and I even just recently moved some prgs into my unused desktop folder!!!
[cool idea for a topic!!!]
Actually you can learn a lot about a person from his desktop.
Drifter I see you are playing, back to childhood again?
My desktop is nothing compared to my START menu:

The screen shot
Availor: By playing can I assume you are talking about Halflife? I used to play EVERY DAY but since I got Xara Xtreme I haven't played since! (Well, maybe once or twice...)
I see you too have a Sierra folder - is that for Halflife?
I was -=Drifter=- in the HL games and also for a while -=GOz=-Drifter.
Those folders contain mostly demo version There is little useful on my computer actually. I just don't uninstall them. I passed Half-Life 2 twice (On my guarding night shift) on my laptop. I played americas army before but when I began my studies I knew I should cut that drug. Passed "First to Fight" and Medal of Honor twice.
I'm not embaressed to say I like cartoons too http://www.guistyles.com/wp-content/...opete/star.png
It is soo addicting isn't it http://www.guistyles.com/wp-content/...kopete/ops.png
My nickname has always been "Availor" since I can remember myself behind a pc. Even in my jobs mailing list I am listed as Availor. It's my "TM". If you ever come to Israel and see "Availor" on any product know I have a certein part in it. In fact if you search the web and find any "Availor" it's 99% related to me http://www.guistyles.com/wp-content/...opete/star.png
This is mine...
My desktop is basically empty - I don't use it!
Instead all my apps are grouped by main function and then shown on the taskbar. Some are used often and go in these two - Main and Main 2 - including Xtreme. Other, less often used tool sets go in a folder off the Start (not grouped by vendor - I've always thought that was dim - who thinks "I'm going to write a letter...aahh that's Microsoft?").
I still use Norton's old File Manager, and then files I am currently working on get popped in a folder called 'Desk', or I drag in a shortcut. When the work is done, I file the files or remove the shortcuts.
Here is mine...
