"Floor"

I dont know if this is a crazy question or not, but here goes.
I would love for someone to explain how i can create a "floor" that text could sit on. I tried messing around with the shadow, but it seems to only be visable from behind. I would love to know if its possible to get the shadow to show out in front of the text. I hope this makes sense. If not, I can always try to re-explain.

Welcome to Talkgraphics.

Xara3D doesn't have a floor object and the shadow cannot be put to the front. You can copy your 3D text (or object) and paste it into Xara Xtreme and apply a shadow.
