Default importing logo made from corel

i was just wondering if its posiible to import a logo made from corel draw.
i tried saving it as an emf and wmf but everytime i import saved file (*.emf *.wmf), xara3d keeps on giving the wrong result... meaning it's not what i expected...
    more power and thanx...

    Hello, and welcome in.

It is possible to import wmf and emf files, though I am not sure the quality will remain in tact. In fact I am certein you should only import simple shapes. Gradient fills and such will not go through nicely if at all. So your peril lies there

Nevertheless if you have Xara Xtreme you can copy a shape and paste it directly inside Xara 3D6.

I hope that you got the idea of it,

    best of luck!

    Welcome magbobote.

Xara3D only imports vector shapes from .wmf, .emf, .xar, and .web files. Any colours used in your file will not be imported. You would have to assign colours to the shapes after they are imported, or use .jpg, .gif, etc files as textures for the shapes. If you have shapes that overlap each other Xara3D will see the combined shape.

I've also had .wmf and .emf files that have not imported accurately, exhibiting extra nodes and spikes. These problems are due to the .wmf/.emf files and not Xara3D.

With both DRAW and Xara open you can copy and paste into Xara from DRAW, and it works quite well. Then if you have a gradient problem, you can fix it right there in Xara and you know then that it will be correct in Xara 3D.
