Well, for shooting in the dark, you certainly got a bright picture! I've seen quite a few monarchs around our sunflowers lately. It's nice to see one up closer and still - thanks.
Yesterday, I found a blue dragonfly in a parking lot. Not too much left, and I only saw the body. I put in a bag and took it home. I discovered it had a full set of wings. they a little bent, and I placed then in between two pieces of card paper over night. Doing good sofar. I went to the shed to get the wings for scanning. I was carying them back to the house when Kai saw me. Kai thinks everything from the shed is food and knocked the card from my hand allowing the weightless invisible wings to disapper. I found them about an hour later.
I have never seen a blue dragonfly land for a photo.

hahahahaha, way to go Kai!!! i've had blue ones land on my fingers and/or fishing pole before. those things come in such brilliant almost irridescent colors - blues, greens, oranges - it's just great
so i expect we will be seeing the wings soon, eh?
Birds at Loch Lomond this morning.
I scanned the wings, but probably will never draw wings again. I always wanted to see the design, however.

Very nice Mike. I was wondering about the no swimming, wading and dangling you feet in the water signs.
