Default SVG import working /with/ strange drop-out problem

+ After helpful hints by several XaraLX developers, I have in fact
been happilly using the command-line svg conversion binary... and,
after several tests without problems, have now encountered a gliche
which seems consistent with remarks I've seen, to the effect that
'svg import in very limited', or, limited to simple svgs, etcetera.
. The specific problem I've noticed does seem to involve [layers]
in some form, though I haven't utilized layers directly. Where I have
a [black] colored area in a multi-color SVG, and convert this file to
XAR format... when opened, just the black areas drop out... it's fairly
simple to redraw these, but very surprising to see your converted
XAR file, now minus shapes which were black... these now assume
the background color - thus my comment on layers.
. I'm overjoyed to have SVG import working as well as it does...
just wanted to report on finding this particular gliche... perhaps it
will help the developers refine the SVG features.

    cheers

Please could you file a bug illustrating the problem (in as simple a manner as possible together with the SVG file) at
    http://bugzilla.xara.com/

    Thanks
