    Excellent, as usual, Valery .
The wireframe is astounding. Never thought ellipses were that effective.
(They look like hula hoops, which would explain how she maintains her good figure... )

Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Well, when I said "Inspirational", you are thinking about mortality, I didn't mean it in a existential manner.

When I was in college we would build up body forms via the use of hand drawn elipses, and even now in vector illustration I use geometric shapes as the means to measure distances.

As the human body really comprises no straight shapes, it becomes much closer to the reality we are perceiving.

You know it is "inspriational" that I can still remember that long ago, too bad it doesn't help for short term memory, like where my keys walked off to.

    Valery,

It's simply fantastic! There are no limits when an artist "goes at it" - place whatever tools infront of him or her and great things will happen. I bet you could do anyting - be it painting or sculpting - even dance (ok, maybe not... not sure on that one... ) and it will be special.

Seeing you create something like that this pretty woman using only ellipses in Xara is mind-blowing!

Same place my specs keep wand'ring off to...

When I have finished my current project (another portrait) I'm going to have a go using elipses as has Valery.

Yup - no straight lines in nature, which puts paid to the argument some folks put up: "Me, draw? I couldn't even draw a straight line!"

Good, if ya'll can draw a curve you are well on the way.

That's just stunning, how you did that!
    A true artist's work!

How long did it take you to draw that image?
