Anybody going to the CorelWorld Conference next week? (September 11-15)

If so, be sure to stop by and say hello. I'll be there doing my usual mischief :-)

    Hi Gary,
I'll be there. Coming in Friday night so I can go to the Zoo on Saturday.

    Hello People

    Any good news?

I'm typing from the UK a country that is just pulling back from the brink.

No petrol, floods and if the protest of a few thousand people had gone on much longer no transport or food.

How did the duelling banjo session go?

    Peter

    Hello Peter

Ah, the Grumpy Old Men session. Well Huss bested me on the chrome pretzel. He cheated and used the Image Sprayer to fill a silver tray (a photo) with his crome pretzels. It was pretty impressive and I had to give him round one.

Rust-wise it was a toss up. I think we both did pretty well.

But for the leaded glass, I kicked butt using a technique that I used on this month's Xara tutorial. I didn't show it to Dave because he's such a quick learner and would have copied the effect.

After each of my examples which I did from scratch, vs Dave's pre-built, cooking show examples, I had a title expressing DRAW's superiority over paint. For the glass example my image said Kiss My Glass. It got a big laugh, as did the whole session.

The "Rematch" was a lot of fun.

    Thanks Gary

The duelling banjos session question was a reference to your showdown with Mr Huss.

Glad to hear the rematch went well.
