    Unhappy PSPX and TIFF

Is it possible to alter the DPI of a file that is being saved as a TIFF in Paintshop Pro X?

At present if I goto save as> TIFF it just saves the file with no option to alter the TIFF settings.

    Thanks

I don't have PSP X, but I think you should be able to go to Image>resize and check the box that says "Maintain Original Print Size."

It will automatically convert to pixels per inch (dpi) which will let you know what dpi you will have at the printer side. Remember to check the CMYK option on the TIFF options box if you are sending it to a Professional printer service.

Maximum for PSP 9 was something like 32000 ppi/dpi, so I don't think you will find a limitation.

Just sort of answered a related problem in another thread. You may want to check with the PSP folks about CMYK. Evidently, they have created a way to import and export ICC files (for and from your Printer Service) along with some other improvements concerning CMYK output.
