My contribution to something silly...
Jumping for joy at the amount of activity here recently. Good going people...
Sitting back and enjoying the show here..
Can't seem to drag myself away from 3d at the moment. But to justify posting it here, the face is drawn in PI then applied as a stencil to the 3d model. Additional color correction also in PI. Plus the gif animation is done in UGA from a series of rendered png stills. 3D done in Blender. Exploring Blender's armatures and rigging stuff, plus tweaking with the composite node stuff for rendering. Nice to see that the final rendered result can be tweaked inside Blender (RGB curves, sharpness, blur, hue and sat., etc) so it's pretty useful, specially when animating.
