    Thanks Remi,
Although it is very easy using X3D with X1 'intersect shapes'. I tried creating your first post in X3D, impossible I think. Too many impossible perspectives .

I've measured the distance between this screen and the book shelf, it is 4 feet. I think that my cut and paste method is quicker anyway.
Nice gag Parahandy but indirect but you still retain the title.

Dimitry, I think I may need a clue to your photo.

In this picture the crossbars seems to be wedge-shaped. But in reality the shapes are equal rectangles and the lines are parallel.

intresting - if I squint my eyes part closed so I no longer see the red, I can clearly see the the edges of the squares form parallel lines - open my eyes to normal so I see the red and it all looks squiffy again

Nice find Remi.. Now that could make an interesting Chess board!

I had a look at the Wiki link.. Gosh that building must drive the neighbours up the wall!!
    wiki:
To construct the illusion, alternating light and dark "bricks" are laid in staggered rows. It is essential for the illusion that each "brick" is surrounded by a layer of "mortar" (the grey in the image). This should ideally be of a colour in between the dark and light colour of the "bricks".
So I too had a play with this in Xara, attached here for anyone who want to play with the colours.

Egg. You slay me. I remember that image. I love the ship making the sharp turns.

Remi - These are really terrific and a great use of Xara. They are very Escheresque.
