The purpose of using links to free image share websites is to save the storage space of the forum.
Imageshack http://imageshack.us is one of the free service websites on internet. Anyone can upload an image file up to 1 MB free of charge.
Bill, thanks for your kind explanation.
I believe the owners/moderators/whatever of this forum would prefer we did NOT link our images to outside sources. The thought behind that being that if the pic is ever removed from that other source it would leave a placeholder here in the forum.
I could be wrong - the people in charge will have to post re. this.
I once too linked to a pic I had in Photobucket thinking it would save the forum some space. I am really curious just exactly how much space this forum has - it's gotta be huge!
