Remove spaces from file names? Add annotations to QT movies?

Help! I have nowhere else to turn. I've came close to finding the answers, but as in life, they’re marred with mystery and evasion.

I have seeminly strightforward questions:

Does anyone know of a utility that can scan a directory and remove all spaces from file names?

Does anyone know how to add annotations (specifically author and copyright info) to Apple QuickTime movies? I create the files in assorted apps and save the final QT from Photopaint.
