(Sorry for the gigantic file size.)
Okay .. I took your cogs into the workshop and repaired 'em.
Did you know your wobble took upa lotta space?
Your original file was 518 KB and is only 53 KB with the wobble removed.

    Hi Mike

Meanwhile, a cog anim of my own, using Egg's cogs.xar file
God, your a bit annoying. Posting an absolutly great cog animation like this and then going away and leaving us all hanging. Post some hints, post your 3d file, post something to help us poor wantabees to learn a bit. Throw us some of your left over scraps and tidbits and then maybe, just maybe I will be nicer to you in the next post.............frank

OK, Frank, it's a fair cop, I'll do up a tutorial over the weekend.

    Meanwhile here's a taster:

It's a 4-page 4-frame swing-2 animation with the swing animation paused on frame 2, that frame from each page exported into XaraXtreme for assembly into a 4-frame animated gif. Doddle!

Hope that'll keep you going till I can supplement it with the technical drawings.

After reading that, I am not just going, I am running away from you as fast as I can, Mike......it not only sounds hard, it sounds scary, the only thing missing so far is the square of pie and the root of 3.....ouch, starting to babble from strained brain cells......looking forward to the tutorial
