    Default Trial Expired

    Hi there,

    Anyone know what to do about this? Downloaded the trial version, selected a layout, and got the notice that my trial was expired. I found this problem listed in the Support Knowledge Database, but when I clicked on it, it came up with Page cannot be found! I tried contacting tech support, but got no response in 3 days! Could sure use some help.

    There are several possible reasons for this message.

    Previous installation found
    Have you previously installed the Xara program on your system? You only have one chance of trailing each version of each Xara product.



    Unable to write to registry

    The demo time-check code is both simple and robust but can be

    prevented from working by over-zealous anti-virus software! As with all

    software, it is best to temporarily disable all anti-virus software before

    installing new applications otherwise registry entries may be

    prevented from being written to your system.



    User account not Administrator

    If your system is equipped with Windows NT4, Windows 2000 or XP,

    make sure you have logged on to the system as 'Administrator' before

    installing any Xara software.

    Once the trial has expired it is not possible to retry the product.

    Hello,

    I had the same problem yesterday, could not access the help files. I also received an error.

    Maybe someone has an idea on how to let Xara know....
