Validation Problems MM Ver 1.1

I am new to this program and have created a menu which is part of a FP DWT. No problems, the menu works fine BUT when I go to validate any of the pages, I get 6 errors all having to do with the menu. When I try to change the code to correct it, I lose the menu.

This is one of the pages but the same problems are on every page where the menu is included. Advice please. Once complete, the site will be moved to it's own domain.

Thanks to the Xara Support Team, this problem has been resolved. They suggested I could change the code to -

<script language="javascript1.1" type="text/javascript"
src="xaramenu.js"></script><script language="javascript1.1"
type="text/javascript"src="menu/squares3.js"></script>

I did, they menu still works, and the page now validates.
