Very nice, and on second view very political, didn`t notice at first.Originally Posted by RUSS-USSR

A place I know so well the last couple of days.
Really nice composition Valery, says a lot. Has given me a few ideas for work, thank you.
Design is thinking made visual.
because I still have a fever , now a new hoodornament.
This may all be old hat to some of you for which I apologise but for me at least. Something strange happened when I dowloaded the Golden egg picture by Shoda Kai from this url http://www.m3corp.com/a/products/ornamentals.htm
I thought it would be a base for making gold metal fills and so I made the small palette seen on the left. I then proceded to use this palette and then found that they were transparent from which I made a series of different coloured panels as seen on the right. It may well be that I had the transparent tool on when I made the original palette I don't know. so there it is. I enclose both a jpg file and a .xarfile . Try it for yourself and use it if you wish. sorry about the size of the .xar file.
Govel, Grovel, I have since discovered that the "transparent palette " while it works on the original doesn't work on a fresh picture, it works as a fill palette but not transparent, unless used with the accompanying .xar file worth a look and play with it.

It's been awhile since I've been on these boards, but I had to post this for my daughter, Jordan. She was just in an AP Art Show for her high school. Her booth (which we made from scratch - ugh!) featured all of her Xara artwork! Here is Jordan in her booth and also one of her drawings. Her theme was Childhood Memories, and her original characters are Duncan & Daisy.
Thanks!
