How cruel Gary, my eyes are watering at the thought of it, is that what is meant by pin your eyes on this?. While I,m here I thought something on a lighter scale might help
silly me I forgot to put in the attached.
That's super,Parahandy! That's the only mouse our guys haven't chased!
Here is a WIP on a series of images I'm doing for a flash style short story. It involves a train trip back home in 1880 of a few of my ancestors. The female in black silohuette on the left represents my 3rd great grandmother addressing her children on how to take care of the farm while they are gone.
The man in black silohuette on the right is her husband, my 3rd great grandfather (hmm, I have seem to forgotten to provide him with his chair.)
Anyway, about 30ish something illustrations of this genre, this is the first one I did for that project.
That's really cool, james!Very evocative!Where were they all off to?
It's a trip from Illinois to Ohio; not far by today's standards. The trip comes from an 1880 journal written by my 3rd great grandfather about the trip. This is the first time they have returned to their birthplace(s) since 1837. So, they have a lot of catching up to do with people to see and places to go.
