Xara Xtreme 2.0f patch released

Extra, the desactivation of the dock galleries.

It's a pity that this upgrade did not take into account the strange bar of progess which continues to annoy me

I get this message:

Please apply this patch only if you have version 2.0e of Xara Xtreme installed from CD and you want to update it to 2.0f. The patch will not work on the trial version of Xara Xtreme or on any other versions.

How do I know what version I have, (I have the cd.) I only see "Xara Xtreme" anywhere.

Hi Elgi,

On the Help menu select About Xara Xtreme and the dialog that opens will show your version.

So how do YOU rate only having to input, "black rectangle" for your serial number! The rest of us are stuck with registration numbers a gazzlion characters long.

For me,

It would be good to see a visual on what to expect when making a registery change. I believe I was successful in changing the value. I just never feel comfortable in making a registery change.

Would you mind telling me how you made the change? I used regedit, typed HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtreme\Options \Galleries
into the find....
BUT.....it didn't find any!!
Now what?!?!?
PS...Patch install was successful or so it said!

I have Xtrene 2.0e but when I tried the patch it said I had a newer version on. I noticed that this is a demo download.. is there another place for that patch. not a full demo download ?/

Rich, the attachment shows how the registry looks after making the change so the galleries do not dock unless the Ctrl key is held down.

My CD version is 2.0a -- and this 2.0f patch refuses to work, giving me this error:
