That serious error is quite common... I think it occurs when you have a lot of bitmaps in your gallery and playing with fills/transparency. I hope the patch will come out soon.

The patch we are about to release is unlikely to fix this crash, but it's hard to say without a lot more information about how the crash is triggered.

Please can someone attempt to reproduce it and submit the steps required?

    Thanks

    I was using the patch.

My only guess is maybe from a lot of trial and error and adding a deleting (AND NOT FREQUENT SAVING ) that my system became unstable and caused the crash.

I can't remember doing anything that different.

By the way and in case you were wondering, I made a screen capture using Shift Print Screen before I crashed then I opened a new Xtreme window and pasted the screen capture into that window.

Can't you recall what tool you were in at the time of the crash or what operation you did that triggered it? That arrow in your screenshot must mean you were in either the transparency or fill tool presumably?

Yeah, I noticed the arrow too. Probably the Transparency Tool and probably applied to an object or group of objects with feathering.

    Those look pretty convincing, Andy.

(The contour on the stem of the glass does not, however)

I agree. Creating glassware is new for me and I'm not working from example so it isn't as realistic as it should be.
I appreciate your critique as it will push me to "go the extra mile" on my work. Thanks! -AF
