I like it!---composition, coloring, and perspective. but I'd make um a bit more piratey; like nose and ear rings, bad teath, cheek full of tobacco, tatoos.... and if you don't mind the additional thot---might give um different kinda hats so they're very individual looking

From the above comments, you can probably deduce why there is little response on your sigs. I think TG has a large portion of "middle to old" age group members who watch little if any manga or anime themed shows...Would be nice if there is an influx of younger members, though. It would certainly add diversity to the forum. And Xara can certainly handle manga style illustrations.
"Onepiece". I think that's the proper title for your King of the pirates. Japanese version of Plastic Man . And just as indestructible.

    Great find, Rich.
That certainly was a good resource on the workflow in creating manga. The tutorials are very detailed. Interesting to see how various graphics apps were combined just to create one page. I see Shade, Expression, Photoshop, Painter working together. The Expression brushes are really awesome. Xara should really put more work into improving their brushes. A big part of the tutorials is about making speed lines in Expression. This is really a feature no other software have. The brushes can be controlled by two or three curves, and the control curves can be arranged in a donut shape with a hole in the center. No way to do that with moulds or envelopes.

    Close but no cugar(sp?)

"One Peice" Depicting one child who ate a cursid fruit known as a gum gum. this turned the boy into a rubber man. he made a promise to the first pirate he ever met by the name of Shanks. Shanks had a 8 man crew and his whole crew was the best around with the most pride but least atitude. Shanks gave his arm to rescue Luffy(dude on the sig) shanks then gave luffy that hat. and luffy promised him to become better than him and become king of the pirates ^ ^
