    well, i have grown tired of this - too many parts - as far as i am concerned it is done
    not perfect
    but i think it's recognizable
    was fun, gotta say that
    sure learn alot doing this stuff
    and thanks for all the tips on perspective and such
    i will use that advice in the future

    Thats more than just recognizable.

    My grandfather left me a set of drafting tools almost identical to these. Box and all. I never dare use em though but I love to look at em.

    Hi Bob,

    Very nicely drawn!!!

    It's a Solder Suck! I have a couple of them myself, although I haven't actually had to use them for a few years. Don't get much chance to work at the component level on equipment anymore.

    For those that don't know, you heat the solder with the soldering iron and use the tool Bob has drawn to draw the molten solder away from the connection you are working on.
