Great drawing, Bob.

That was always referred to as a Map Measure by the Intelligence people I worked with. I did a google search and there are many different styles of them available now. A company called Silva still makes one that uses a needle and dial, most others are digital readout.

You got me on that last tool, I've seen one or two of them at some time or another (can't remember where or when) but never knew what they are called.

Can't you see the glue stick??? It's there... it's very light, but it's there. I can see it over here.
Bill - I'm shocked you don't know the name of that tool. So far, you've been able to name all my challenges.
