Thanks guys, it's fun learning Xara!!! And to you Xara folks, I never had this much enthusiasm to draw before with any other drawing program. Thank you again, Xara!

Here's an old knife I've had for years and years and years. Don't even know where I got it. It's battered and used. Part of the leather handle is missing.
The blade itself is actually blackened as I now use it with my propane torch. I heat it up and then cut thru things, like plastic.
But, I cleaned up the blade for this pic.

One of my favorite cutters, trimmers, snips, whatever - because it has a soft squishy handle and has the mandatory SPRING!!!

When my last computer died and I bought a different one, I was determined to see what was/is inside a harddrive. It was NOT easy opening that lil' sucker! No screws - mostly strong strong rivets. So I smashed with a hammer, filed with files, and grinded with my drill grinding attachments.

I finally got it open. The bottom of it is a circuit board - not very interesting to look at.

But the top... I found that much more interesting to look at.

So here is a picture I just finished drawing of a tool we are all right now using - a harddrive.

Marvellous Bob no wonder this is the top thread of the moment, the casing is so real, the tracker arm superb and its accompanying head as well. By the way, after you knocked it to bits did you get it working again?

    Bob,
It's obvious you're becoming more and more comfortable and familiar with Xara. The drawings you've displayed on just this thread, IMHO, show a gradual progression. Very nice work.

Very Well Done!! Looks very much like some I have had the pleasure of ~~distroying~~

When you work with those things all day and night you sometimes need to release some frustration on them

Be careful if you decide to make your deadly frisbee, those things have some weight that leaves an impression when it hits something.
