Exclamation Stop & Post March 2006!

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere at least, spring is in the air, and a Xara user's mind turns to things like daffodils. Well, mine did anyway.

So put your mice down (not in a veterinary way, you understand) and show everyone what you've been working on. It's good for you.

Even though its not March for another 12 hours or so , here is a face found in a tree by Egg and designated 'primate' by Sally in the Winter Wonderland post of a a few days ago.

I don't know what kind of daffodils you have in Wales, but here in the U.S they are poison

The flower heads are fine and taste of a mild walnut flavour. The bulbs and lower stems are poisonous.

Messing about with filters tonight, not really my thing but it beats working. I liked the way this one turned out, a bit chalky / blueprint type effect.

My first venture into stereo photography. I took two photos moving the camera 6" to the right for the second camera. When seen in stereo, the depth is pretty incredible. I'm now trying to do this with a series of photos.

Unlike stiching images together, the camera faces forward and you move the camera and tripod about the distance of your eyes.
