    I am just reading through trying to learn more... here's another version using simsmj's guideline... you guys are good.

    ok i av just got xara3D and how the hell do you get images into it? all i can do is text with the default animations

    You can't get images directly into Xara3D. The image above your post is the equivelant of a full stop (period), and the image is applied to the full stop as a texture.
    To do a quick test:
    1: In the text box type in just a single full stop.
    2: Ensure the text size is set to 'Fit to Width'. It's the defaullt setting.
    3: Open the Texture Options, Hit the 'Load Texture' button.
    4: Browse to a suitable texture, say a photo of a face.
    5: This will place the photo of the face onto the full stop.

    This should give you an idea of how it's done.
