Importing to Xara3D

If you've seen my latest animated boat in the Xara Gallery (second page of 'Three Ships' thread), I was able to get on with the job by exporting my hull shape from X as a nice big EMF, but I'd far rather keep things as .xar for more critical jobs.

Guys i still have my old same problem, it seems that i almost tried all your mentioned procedures to import native Xar. files, but with no luck [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif[/img]
I have XaraX and CorelXara, and Xara3d 4. nothing is working, by the way i can import EMF,wmf files with no problems, but the damn Xar files can not be impoted into 3d
i alredy down loaded the plugin [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif[/img]

When you try to import an image, do you get anything?

For example do you get a solid rectangle, solid square, oe other solid image?

If yes, then you are importing an image placed over a rectangle, square, or other solid background and Xara X is just displaying the combined shape.

I even can not import wmf or emf file nothing is working, i remmebered that those files used to work, i could see them in the file type list of the import dialog box , but not anymore, i don't know what happened. i need a work around or a fast solution because i am getting fed up of xara3d problems, It does not support Arabic font, and it does not import Xar files smoothly, i don't understand why the programmer made so difficult to deal with. I think this app has the potentioal to be a very soild animation tool for the web, but it needs more support and attention from poeple at Xara.
