Default Cleaner Contours in Corel 11?

    Hi all

I have been using corel for a while now for my own uses (designer/signmaker) but I have recently started supplying graphics to other signmakers.

When using the contour tool in corel it creates a line consisting of many short straight lines and hundreds of nodes.

Now I could draw the contour by hand but sometimes I have tens of these to do a day so I need a quick method of making cleaner contours

I can put up with all the nodes for my own use but I don't want to send images out to clients like that.

    Cheers

On your property bar you can select all nodes, then the reduce nodes option becomes available. I'd give that a try.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

    Cheers Sally

I have tried that but tends to change the shape too much

I think corel x3 has improved contour function

I am also looking into exporting into either Illustrator or xara just to do contours and then import back to corel

Oh well, I may have to download a trial version of x3 and see if they have caught up with everyone else.
