    Every image I define into a brush becomes black. How can I make it keep its original form. ...

    I should be more clear. The image that comes from the brush is more light than the original its color is much brighter.

    What colour are the brushes when you open the brushes pallette there are black, evry brush is black till you select the colour from the main memu. What you want to do is to look in the help file about "Dynamic Brushes" and that will give you more info.
