The header for the 3rd site is large, 46Kb's. That's a 10 second download for someone on dial up. I'm not sure how your site caches images, if at all, but if this header image needs to be reloaded every time the page refreshes it will take some time.

nice design and everything but i felt that the google adwords could do with a repositioning. maybe have them veritcal instead? as the adwords inbetween the banner and the main interface ruin the flow and feel of the site.
