This certainly isn't high-art but Xara X is great therapy. 5 lines combined for the fingers and then a round bevel applied. Kidney shape and round bevel for the palm.

try again with round frame for the palm, perhaps that may give good results !!!
And about your previous and interesting suggestions you may write to this address and send them examples into .xar files or others. I do it regularly with ideas for future releases and I receive allways short but kind replies.

One thing you might like to try is changing the light elevation on rounded bevels, if you do not want to see the join between the bevel and the object which is bevelled you should use a light elevation of about 30 degrees.

Ivan and Mark thanks for the suggestions. Mark, around 30° is definitely the key light-angle.
Wish this lighting technique could be applied to other objects (that don't have a bevel). [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]
