targeting a movie from another movie.

i have a menu in my scene and it is a movie.,
I want to open another movie @ a certain frame from a button in the menu movie,

how would i go about doin this.
i am using flash 5

Load the movie at a higher level and then tell the new movie to go to a frame using a tell target on the level of the new movie. that's the easiest way to do it.

if you need to unload the original movie, then set a javascript variable in the html page in which your movies are embedded - then get the new movie to read this variable when it's loaded and jump to the appropriate frame
