Thanks. Your images always convey a simplicity which hides the complexities of the actual drawings. Even in the early stages of construction, the images shout out to be animated.

Just a quick question. You create the line work first then do you basically redraw the csame shapes to add the colour fills? (Obviously open lines cannot be filled.
Just wondered.

Yes - The line work is done first, then shapes are created and placed underneath the lines to act as colour fills. The shapes created under the line work don't need to be accurate - or a whole lot of time spent on them. The lines on top will hide their edges.Originally Posted by mykyl1966

im no amazing artist but great job- one part bugs me though. The glove or mitten that the kid is waving back seems too close to the girl's boot, so it almost seems like there is a lack of movement or depth...
just a quick note is all
