I don't know how long this new version has been out, but I just discovered it a couple of days ago. To find out more see http://www.mediachance.com/realdraw/index.html

Although I am an extreme fan of Xtreme, I still like some of the things that RD can do. There are 3D effects that you can obtain at the click of a button, much like how plugins now work with Xtreme. The advantage is that you can edit these effects on the fly and don't have to go into a separate plugin menu to achieve or edit them. It has 3D lights, and exports to PSD with each object having it's own layer.

Of course, it has drawbacks such as the only zoom view that is decent is 100%. Anything closer and the image gets all fuzzy and is hard to fine tune things. Also, if you select the rectangle tool, you can only draw one rectangle and have to reselect it to draw the next one.

I could go on but just wanted to make mention of this program in case anyone is interested.
