    Default Spitfire and Bf109

I know I've been on a WWII binge lately. I'm sure I'll be over it soon. Just a little Spitfire and Bf109 action.

Whether you redo these in Xtreme or not, they're very good already. What program do you use to create these pics? Looks like you also dabble in 3D.

Thanks John. I'm doing one with Xara X1 now, taking small steps and all that.

Grafixman, used same program as the other aviation image I posted( Ulead GIF5). I've only worked in 2D upto this time though.
I seem to be hooked on aircraft at the moment. Thanks all.

I'll give you whatever bodypart John has left over to see a halfdone pic of a project you're doing in Gif animator. I can't imagine any way of doing something remotely like this in that program.... .
Sorry, John. But I figure your bodyparts are more valuable than mine... you know how antiques are...

Those aircraft pics in UGA 5?
    Surely, you're joking?

Here you go Grafixman. Sorry about that John, hope its not too painful.
Ulead GIF is kind of like painting with a brush. You can paint various width lines with different pressure (transparency) in layers. There is something pleasant about simple tools. Maybe its just my simple mind. I am using Xara X1 for the one I'm doing now though. Thanks all again.

Thumbs up Re: Spitfire and Bf109

    gray,

I'm truly impressed! Yes, I'm sure there is satisfaction and joy in simple tools -- but GIF5!

Spend a little bit of time with Xara X and you will see that the skills you have developed in GIF5 - will make your life so much easier, and you images come through faster!

Did I mention that I was truly impressed?

Sorry John. Dissecting specimens bring in much more than .99 cents a pound.

Thanks Risto Klint. I'll post the one I just completed with Xara in the Xara Gallery. Nothing complex in it apart from the aircraft, but it was a good starting point.
