An unknown capabilty of Expression/Acrylic to most everyone is the use of 32 bit reflection map with vector objects. Rich

You forgot to mention a reasonably important point. The price, it's free. Donations are requested.

Expression (Acrylic) is free, Microsoft have given it to me.
How tempting it is for people in the future depends on how much it eventually costs, I'm personally finding it easy and intuitive to use and while I'm still only scratching about on the surface of what it's capable of I must say I'm as sold on Expression as I am (and have been for the last ten years) on Xara.

Acrylic (Expression) will get its market share for one single reason alone:
    Export to XAML.

If its the only application with support to create GUI Elements for the next Windows, people will start to use it no matter how good it is.
