Having enjoyed Bill Clegg's recent post, I thought about some of my art from the past, and thought it might be enjoyable to post some of our past work. Gary has done a great job of collecting work for his Xara Xone website. Some may wish to contribute to this more informal setting.

Nice drawing Wayne and a neat idea.

It also brings up a question I have. For example, your image is dated 2002. Suppose you go back to an old illustration and you see how you can make improvements to it because of what you've learned over time. And you then do some new work to the image. Does it now become a 2004 illustration?

how about if you post the old version and the new version. Who cares if it is 1804 or 2004 the more pretty pics the better.

Here's one I did in 1998. This was my first 'best' creation in Xara, where I tried my best and tried to do things that were new for me. Like creating a lens flare and the reflection on the table.

I was just wondering if you edited an old drawing and saved the changes, and the old way no longer existed, would you change the year on the image? I suppose the best thing is just keep the original and save another copy just to avoid the question.

One day I'll completly redo this drawing, keeping the original of course. But I'd like to see how I'd do it today.

I believe this is the 2nd thing I ever posted. back in 2001. Every once in a while I pull it up and try to work on it, one day I'll get it right.
